The falls was named after the reining queen at the time by Scottish explorer Dr. David Livingstone. Also called Mosi-oa-Tunya meaning â€Å"smoke that thunders†. Angel Falls- 5 ºN, 62 ºW It is the world’s highest uninterrupted waterfall, with a height of 3,212 ft in Venezuela. Falls has been named after Jimmie Angel, a US aviator, who was the first person to fly over the falls on November 16, 1933 in search of gold. Known in Venezuela
